Bar Manager / Lead Bartender

The Apis Bar Manager will work closely with the General Manager and all members of the restaurant’s management team to ensure the restaurant is operating according to the standards set by the Grease & Honey executive management team. The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing bar service & training, assist in the ongoing training of FOH staff, and will share in the restaurant’s administrative responsibilities.

Apis managers are integral and active members of service. They are expected to be hands-on in all facets of the guest experience––from beginning to end, and in collaboration with both the FOH and BOH service teams. Managers are primary representatives of the restaurant to all guests and to the public at large. As such, Managers are expected to live the values of hospitality in all that they do, and are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful at all times while upholding company standards and values in a busy, fast paced environment.

Banquet Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager

The Apis Banquet Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager will work collaboratively with the Restaurant Chef and the General Manager, and will assist in managing all aspects of The Apis culinary program. The Apis Banquet Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager will focus on managing all banquet food preparation and banquet food service, ensuring that the kitchen remains supplied, stocked, staffed, and prepared for our various private events and banquets. The Apis Banquet Chef / Assistant Kitchen Manager will additionally assist with purchasing & inventory, and will further aid in menu design and systems development. An additional key responsibility will be mentoring, training, and supporting all BOH banquet staff.

Assistant FOH Manager

The Apis Assistant FOH Manager will work closely with the General Manager, FOH Manager, and all members of the restaurant’s management team to ensure the restaurant is operating according to the standards set by the Grease & Honey executive management team. The Assistant FOH Manager will be responsible for overseeing service, assisting in the training of FOH staff, and will share in the restaurant’s administrative responsibilities.

Line Cook

The Apis Line Cook is on the front lines of culinary service at our restaurant, carrying out all aspects of dish preparation, and maintaining food standards as set by management. Line Cooks are responsible for presenting all dishes with precision and quality that meet company standards. Tasked with mastering each station of the line, Apis Line Cooks are also accountable for cleanliness and food & equipment safety. 

Prep Cook

The Apis Prep Cook is an individual who assists the BOH staff in preparing food, maintains a safe and clean food environment, and takes on other culinary tasks as delegated. The ideal Prep Cook candidate is focused, driven, detail oriented and comfortable working in a kitchen environment.

Dishwasher

The Apis Dishwasher will work to help the BOH to execute smooth service through dish and equipment upkeep. The ideal candidate will be excited to be a part of the team and to uphold The Apis standards and values. 

Barback

The Apis Barbacks assist the service team in providing guests with an exemplary experience. Their primary duty is to support our team of Bartenders, however, their work leads to improved service across all levels of the restaurant. They are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful at all times while upholding company standards & values in a busy, fast paced environment.

Bartender

The Apis Bartenders are primary representatives of the restaurant to all guests. Bartenders are responsible for assembling and serving alcoholic beverages, while also guiding guests through The Apis experience. Apis Bartenders are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful at all times while upholding company standards and values in a busy, fast paced environment.

Host

As the first and last point of contact for each guest, Apis Hosts are friendly and warm, yet professional and exacting. We are looking for well-presented, engaging individuals who will be excited to provide knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful service at all times while upholding company standards & values in a busy, fast paced environment.

Back Server

The Apis Back Servers assist Bartenders & Servers in providing guests with an exemplary experience. They are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful at all times while upholding company standards & values in a busy, fast paced environment.

Server

The Apis Servers are primary representatives of the restaurant to all guests. Servers are responsible for guiding guests through The Apis experience. Apis Servers are expected to give service that is knowledgeable, approachable, efficient, energetic, and thoughtful at all times while upholding company standards and values in a busy, fast paced environment.
