Wine Wednesday with Envínate
(Spain & the Canary Islands)

Join us on Wednesday, April 1st, for a very special wine tasting with Justin Spaller of Chromatic Wine Co., as we share a number of selections from one of our all-time favorite producers, Envínate!

Envínate is the passion project of 4 like-minded winegrowers and oenologists who met at university, and who have followed their passion for traditional and non-interventional winemaking to the Canary Islands and other lesser-known regions of the Spanish mainland.

Deeply textured and cerebral, their winemaking style has captured the imaginations of an entirely new gerneration of wine-lover, and we're so pleased to be able to offer these wines at The Apis Hotel & Restaurant in Downtown Kenosha.

This event features a facilitated tasting from 5:30p - 6:30p. Wines will be accompanied by small bites, courtesy of The Apis culinary team. John Hamel of Hamel Family Wines
(Sonoma, California)

Join us on Tuesday, April 7th, for a very special classroom-style wine tasting with winemaker John Hamel of Hamel Family Wines.

With philosophies rooted in organic & biodynamic farmings, John leads a winemaking team that is focused on producing unique expressions of wine with a deep sense of place. John and his team apply a micro-terroir-based winegrowing approach in which the vineyard and winemaking practices are adapted specifically to the volcanic soils across Hamel’s vineyards.

As a family-owned and managed winery, the team at Hamel makes decisions that ensure the enduring quality, balance, and health of their vineyards for generations to come.

Wine Dinner with Mayacamas
Vineyards (Mt. Veeder, California)

Join us on Wednesday, April 15th, for a very special wine dinner with Mayacams Vineyards at The Apis Hotel & Restaurant!

Founded in 1889, Mayacamas stands as one of the most storied vineyards and winery operations in Napa Valley. Since the 1950’s the vinification of Mayacamas wines has remained remarkably steadfast, with continued commitment to classical techniques and minimal intervention. The result are dynamic, mountain-based wines with incredible longevity and sense of place.

Far Niente (Napa Valley, California)

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd for the launch of Rooftop Season at The Apis Hotel & Restaurant!

This grand event centers around one of sport's most cherished traditions, the Run for the Roses...

We'll be offering a special menu of Derby Day drinks courtesy of Woodford Reserve and Herradura Tequila, a feast of heavy appetizers, and a raffle & silent auction –– with all proceeds to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha.

of Pecchenino Winery (Dogliani, Italy)

Join us on Wednesday, May 6th, for a very special wine tasting with Lisa Pecchenino of Pecchenino Winery!

With a base of production centered in Dogliani, in the south of Piemonte, Italy, the Pecchenino family is now in it's fourth generation of winemaking. Focused on the production of traditional Dogliani wines of Dolcetto, the family now also produces Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Riesling, and Alta Langa (traditional method sparkling wines).

Come taste several selections from Pecchenino while hearing from fourth generation proprietor Lisa Pecchenino!
